No. 124 has a simple facing gable and a full-size front porch. Typical of early kit home manufacturers, the floor plans were sometimes ... hmmm ... a little odd. In this plan, there are no hallways and rooms open directly from the living room and kitchen into the bedrooms, for example. One unusual feature of this plan is the confusion of doors leading to the bathroom and bedroom off the kitchen. In the 1921 iteration, the plan (called the Mississippi) is resolved sensibly.
