No. 157 is certainly a pretty bungalow. According to the catalog for both 1915 and 1921 (when it was renamed the Santa Barbara), it was one of the finest homes in their collection. As with many of the Ready Built kits, this one was further refined though the façade and footprint remained essential the same. By 1921, the Pullman kitchen and sleeping porch disappear and the linen closet and boiler closet are combined into a single space.
